CMMC Priorities

The Chicago Metro Metal Consortium (CMMC) is committed to focusing our efforts in the following three areas, which are aligned with the U.S. Economic Development Administration's IMCP's priorities, to accelerate growth in key segments of the metal manufacturing industry.

Address regional workforce and education gaps by promoting stronger partnerships between manufacturers and training providers, identifying and finding solutions for the skills/wage 'gap,' and encouraging careers in manufacturing.
